Frequently asked questions about Corona virus

In response to the last update Email regarding pausing subscriptions, we are receiving some questions.

1.What does pausing the subscription mean?
All subscriptions are paused/frozen in our administration. The moment we reopen, the payment date or end date of your contract will be moved forward by the same period.

2.What happens to subscriptions that are fully prepaid?
Also with these subscriptions, the end date will move up based on the period we are closed.

3.What will happen to BFN (company fitness subscriptions)?
The administration/payment of these subscriptions does not go through Artisport but through BFN. Today all BFN members will receive an E-mail confirming that these subscriptions will also be paused.

4.I just want to cancel, can this be done immediately or only at the end of my membership?
First of all, we are sorry to hear that you want to cancel your subscription. The current situation is according to our Terms and Conditions not a valid reason to cancel your subscription immediately. Of course we will do everything we can to keep you as a member. As long as our clubs are closed, we pause the contracts of all members. The end date of your subscription will be pushed back by the same period. Until we open, we will also stop collecting your subscription fees; we will start collecting again when we reopen.

Dear Artisport members,

We have received a few questions regarding the pausing of memberships, which was announced in our last e-mail update.

First of all we would like to thank you for all the positive feedback and heartwarming messages which we've received from you about our decision to pause all memberships, effective immediately, and to not make any direct debits until reopening.

1.What exactly means pausing your membership?

All memberships will be paused/frozen in our administration. Your membership will be restarted as soon as we are allowed to open the club again. The frozen period will be added at the end of your contract term.

2. What happens with prepaid memberships?

Also for these memberships, we will extend the end of your contract term with the frrozen period. 

3. What happens with memberships through BFN? (Bedrijfsfitness Nederland)

Payment/administration of these contracts are done by BFN and not by Artisport. All BFN members will receive an email today with a confirmation that also these type of contracts will be paused for the moment.

4. I want to cancel my membership for any reason, is this possible immediately or do I have to wait until the end of my contract term?

First of all we regret to hear that you'd like to cancel your membership with us. According to our general terms and conditions, the current situation isn't a valid reason for immediate cancellation. Of course we will give it our best to keep you as a member. As long as our clubs are closed, we will freeze all memberships. The end term of your contract will therefor automatically be extended with the frozen period. Until reopening, we will stop all direct debits, these will be reactivated as soon as we open again.
