Like many others, you probably saw the press conference yesterday regarding the Corona virus. From this it was revealed that unfortunately, for the time being, the government is not offering us any relaxation on the earlier measure, to reopen the gyms only as of September 1.
In doing so, however, Prime Minister Rutte made it clear that he is in talks with the gyms to look at the possibilities for a possible earlier reopening.
Because of this ruling, we are somewhat hopeful and it is our quiet expectation that we may be allowed to reopen the doors of both our clubs by July 1.
Due to all the preparations we have been working incredibly hard on recently, the entire team is on standby to restart as soon as possible, of course in compliance with all the safety and hygiene regulations of the RIVM.
Artisport, together with other local entrepreneurs, is a household name in Veldhoven and Meerhoven. The situation we currently live in as a result of the Corona crisis is hitting us all hard. As you can probably imagine, the temporary discontinuation of all memberships as of March 16 has far-reaching consequences for the survival and thus the future of our company.
It goes without saying that we will continue to do everything possible to ensure that our team members can keep their beloved jobs and our loyal, highly valued members can keep their regular place to play sports, but we would need your help in doing so now.
Unfortunately, the latest reporting and the earlier decisions made by the government have nevertheless left us with no other option than to launch a "SUPPORT YOUR CLUB" campaign. We hereby offer you a choice of the following two options:
Option 1: Artisport Family
I support Artisport 100%! I am happy to help Artisport and its team members through this difficult period. I choose to continue paying the membership fee in full starting June 1 and waive any further compensation.
Option 2: I freeze my membership
I unfortunately see no way to support Artisport and choose to continue freezing my membership. The frozen period will be added to the end of my contract term.
Please inform us no later than Monday, May 25, via the link below the option you have chosen.
If we do not receive a response, we will continue your membership from June 1 as per option 1.
Should you be unable to respond in time or unexpectedly missed this e-mail, you will always have the option afterwards, if desired, to change your choice to option 2 and freeze your contract until the official reopening.
We would greatly appreciate it if you choose to support us, but fully respect the choice if you cannot do so for personal reasons.
Outdoor Fitness and Group Classes:
Starting Monday, May 18, we started FREE outdoor fitness in Veldhoven and outdoor group classes in Veldhoven and Meerhoven.
From members we received a lot of nice and positive reactions to this, but were also immediately asked for expansion of the offer. Of course we are happy to comply and have decided to expand the number of lessons with :
Senior fitness: Monday - Wednesday - Friday from 10.15 - 10.45 (Veldhoven)
Arti kids: Friday from 16.00 - 16.45 (Veldhoven)
Bootcamp/challenge: Friday from 09.15 - 10.00 (Veldhoven and Meerhoven)

SUPPORT YOUR CLUB

As many others, you have probably also watched yesterday's press conference regarding the Corona virus. Unfortunately the government still hasn't offered us the possibility to reopen earlier than the previous communicated 1st of September.
However, Prime Minister Rutte has clearly indicated that he is talking to the gyms to look at the options for a possible earlier reopening.
Because of this statement, we are somewhat hopeful and it is our silent expectation that we may be able to open the doors of both clubs on the1st of July.
Due to all the preparations that we have worked very hard on, our entire team is ready to get started again as soon as possible, of course in accordance with all safety and hygiene rules as set by the RIVM.
Artisport, together with other local entrepreneurs, is a well-known name in Veldhoven and Meerhoven. The situation in which we currently live as a result of the Corona crisis is hard on us all. As you can probably imagine, the temporary cessation of all memberships from March16th on, has profound consequences for the survival and therefore the future of our company.
It goes without saying that we will continue to do everything we can to ensure that our team members can keep their beloved job and our loyal, highly valued members their regular place to exercise, but to do so, we would need to ask for your help.
Unfortunately, the decisions taken by the government have led to the fact that we see no other possibility than to start a "SUPPORT YOUR CLUB" campaign.
We would like to offer you 2 different options for the continuation of your membership with Artisport.
Option 1: Artisport family
I support Artisport for 100%! I would like to help Artisport and its team members to get through these difficult times. As from the1st of June on, I choose to continue to pay the membership fee in full and refrain from any further compensation.
Option 2: I would like to freeze my membership
Unfortunately I see no possibility to support Artisport and choose to continue pausing my membership. The frozen period will be added at the end of my contract term.
We would kindly like to ask you to inform us about the option you have chosen, no later than Sunday the 24th of May via info@artisport.nl
If we do not receive a response, we will continue your membership from the1st of June on, in accordance with option 1.
If you are unable to respond in time or have unexpectedly missed this e-mail, you can, if you wish to do so, always change to option 2 and freeze your contract until the official reopening.
