Dear Artisporter,
Below are the questions with answers related to activating your membership or should you unexpectedly choose to terminate your membership, please note the following:
- The end date of your contract is within the 16-03 to 30-06 freeze period.
We will calculate from 16-03 the number of days your membership has been frozen until the end date of your contract term. Your contract duration will be extended by this total number of days. The general notice period of 4 weeks also applies here.
- You want to cancel your membership before July 1 but are unable to do so in person due to the corona closure.
Due to the mandatory closure of both our clubs until reopening on July 1, you can send us your cancellation via e-mail until June 7. Please keep in mind that the entirety of the end date of your contract + the freezing period pro rata + the applicable notice period of 4 weeks must end no later than June 7.
- You wish to cancel your membership with Artisport after July 1.
As with corona closure, a cancellation must always be done in person. Together with one of our staff members, you will complete and sign the cancellation form at your club so that we can process your cancellation. When canceling, please keep in mind the correct end date of your contract + the full freeze period + the applicable 4-week notice period.
- You have already prepaid the membership in March.
Had you already paid membership dues in March in advance you will not be collected immediately.
The payment date will then automatically advance to mid-July.
Members who had not yet prepaid will be included almost immediately. The description on the bank will be called "recalculation corona period."
In the case of prepayment of your semi-annual or annual membership, we will add the full freeze period to your contract term at no charge.
The freeze period due to the Corona crisis cannot be used to prematurely cancel your membership with Artisport. Artisport hereby invokes the generally applicable conditions, as stated under Article Section 4.2. If your question is not listed here, please send an e-mail to office@artisport.nl.
